book review

Welcome to the new Bookshelf Tees blog! Here you will find news on new products, book reviews, bookish playlists and fun collaborations. I'm excited about this space and I am glad that you are here.

I have a goal to read 50 books this year and I can't wait to share my favorites with you. I recently finished reading The Love That Split the World by Emily Henry and it was such an incredible read.

The first couple of chapters were difficult for me to get hooked into because the story is woven with ancient stories from the Native American culture, and it was hard for me to visualize the stories at times. Once I was able to get a handle on them, everything started coming together beautifully and I couldn't put it down.

The story follows Natalie, a recent high school graduate. She suffers from chronic nightmares and not only that, she has nightly visitations from an old woman for most of her life. One day she starts to realize that her reality is mixing with a world different from her own.

Emily Henry created amazing characters through her beautiful writing, and vivid settings through her amazing storytelling. I read this book a week ago and I haven't stopped thinking about it. It should be a must-read for you this year!

4/5 stars
